Crockpot Orange Chicken

- 1.5 lbs pounds chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbs coconut oil
- 2 tbs arrowroot starch
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1/4 cup coconut aminos
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbs sliced green onion (for topping)
Add the coconut oil to your slow cooker.
Add the chicken and arrowroot starch, then stir until the chicken is evenly coated.
Pour in the orange juice, coconut aminos, honey, sea salt, ginger, onion powder, turmeric (if using), and black pepper. Stir everything together.
Cook on High for 2 hours or Low for 4 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked.
Give everything one final stir so the chicken is coated in the sauce. Top with green onions and serve.
Serve over cauliflower rice with steamed broccoli or bok choy.
